The claim is what ties an asset (your work) to a video and can be made on any video containing an asset usage of over 10 seconds.
Claims are made automatically via Content ID and can take anywhere from a few days to 6 months to be generated.
Once a video has a claim attached and a policy set, royalties can begin to generate.
