When there is a change made to a piece of song information - also known as an amendment - the song will be locked as not to be edited until this amendment has been approved by Sentric.
The reason why a song is locked may include, but are not limited to:
- A piece of information has been edited (such as the song title, duration, or performing artist)
- Changes were made to one of the writers of the song (such as the artist name, PRO details, or share percentage)
- A writer has been added or removed from the song
- The right to collect has changed for one of the writers in the song
While your song is locked, someone from the Sentric Team will be checking the amendment to approve it. This may take about 3 business days. Once the amendment is approved, your song will be unlocked and you will then be able to edit it.
